Sage CRM latest versions like version 7.0, version 7.1 integrates with more advanced Sage 300 (Accpac) versions like Accpac 6.0, 6.1 etc. Now process of implementation is very easy and straight forward as far as new installation is concerned, however when you are upgrading from previous versions even and though you have followed all the steps correctly you keep on getting the minor errors in integration module. I will be taking them one by one and posting the possible solutions for the same through the series of blogs on this blog site.<br \/>\nThe most common errors that you face are <strong>Session could not be opened<\/strong> error when synching data from the Sage Accpac Administration menu and the other one is <strong>slowness\/timeout sometimes<\/strong> while saving company.<br \/>\nFor resolving these we tried giving permissions of <strong>IUSR<\/strong> and <strong>ASPNET<\/strong> user to the Sage Accpac installation folder, but no luck. Then on the same basis we decided to give permissions to domain administrator user and use the same user as anonymous user on <strong>Sage CRM application pool<\/strong> and <strong>CRMRewriter App Pool<\/strong>. Below are the steps that we followed.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to <strong>Start<\/strong>\u00a0| <strong>Run<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Run the <strong>inetmgr<\/strong> command.<\/li>\n<li>The IIS (<strong>Internet Information Services<\/strong>) window will be opened.<\/li>\n<li>Go to <strong>Application Pools<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Right click on the <strong>CRM APP Pool<\/strong> and select Application Settings.<\/li>\n<li>Click on the Browse button present on the side of Identity option in the Process Model section.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/11.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1137\" style=\"border: black 1px solid;\" title=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/11.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"950\" height=\"751\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>Application Pool Identity<\/strong> screen appears.<\/li>\n<li>Select the <strong>Custom Account<\/strong>and connect using the domain user who has full administrative rights on the server.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1138\" style=\"border: black 1px solid;\" title=\"2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"950\" height=\"751\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>9. Restart the IIS.<br \/>\nAfter doing this the synchronization went fine hence assumed integration should also work fine. Hence we checked the ACCPAC to CRM synch by updating customer in ACCPAC it was properly updated in CRM, but when we updated Company in CRM the screen hanged. Even though this happened, the data was correctly updated in ACCPAC. After some time we received <strong>server is busy<\/strong> error on screen and we had to do an IISRESET to bring the system back to normal.\u00a0 Similar thing happened with Phone, email and address screens too, However Promote functionality was working fine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">After some more investigation we found that this is a known issue with Windows Server 2008 R2. To resolve this we had set the compatibility for the below 2 executables by following below steps.<br \/>\n1.\u00a0Navigate to the below path.<br \/>\nC:\\Program Files (x86)\\Common Files\\Sage\\Sage Accpac\\<br \/>\n2.\u00a0Select the <em><strong>a4wnetMgrService.exe<\/strong><\/em><br \/>\n3.\u00a0Right click on the exe.<br \/>\n4.\u00a0Properties window will appear.<br \/>\n5.\u00a0Select the Compatibility tab and click on the change settings for all users.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/41.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1142\" style=\"border: black 1px solid;\" title=\"4\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/41.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"453\" height=\"581\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n6. New properties window will open.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/31.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1141\" style=\"border: black 1px solid;\" title=\"3\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/31.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"447\" height=\"576\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n7. Select the checkbox Run this program in compatibility mode for and set the <strong>Windows Server 2008<\/strong> in the dropdown.
