In below article, I will explain one such functionality of CRM which seems to be bit confusing for users as per the below forum link shared.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Forum Link:<\/span>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/community.sagecrm.com\/partner_community\/f\/73\/t\/12483.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Set Territory to User Home Territory<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em><span style=\"color: #993300;\">New Stuff:<\/span>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/2015\/11\/26\/dashboard-and-real-time-inquiry-information\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dashboard and Real time Inquiry information<\/a><\/p>\n<p>To explain the resolution given or the actual functionality of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sagesoftware.co.in\/product-sage-crm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sage CRM<\/a>, let\u2019s consider below example &#8211;<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/52.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11543\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/52.jpg\" alt=\"5\" width=\"626\" height=\"58\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Now, when you login into CRM through <strong>Admin<\/strong> user and create a new record of any entity may it be Company, Lead, and Opportunity etc. You will find that the value set in <strong>Territory<\/strong> field is <strong><em>Default<\/em><\/strong>, although his <strong>Home Territory<\/strong> was set as <strong><em>Worldwide<\/em><\/strong>. Though this seems to be bit confusing, it happens to be the functionality of this particular field. As the value Default means that CRM is ready to set the home territory of the logged in user. Please find the below image.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Blog1.png\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-11534\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Blog1-1024x174.png\" alt=\"Blog1\" width=\"595\" height=\"101\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>On click of \u201c<strong>Save<\/strong>\u201d, Territory field automatically gets set to \u201c<strong>Worldwide<\/strong>\u201d.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Blog2.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-11535\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/Blog2-1024x187.png\" alt=\"Blog2\" width=\"595\" height=\"109\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nAgain, when you login with user <strong>DolanW<\/strong>\u00a0and create a new company, you will find value set in <strong>Territory<\/strong> field as <strong><em>Default<\/em><\/strong> although his <strong>Home Territory<\/strong> is <em><strong>Ireland<\/strong><\/em>. This value will set once you save the record successfully.
