Sage CRM also provides Reporting feature and security structure.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong><em>New Stuff:<\/em><\/strong><\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/2016\/01\/16\/sage-crm-and-sage-300-erp-integration-part-3\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sage CRM and Sage 300 ERP Integration Part-3<\/a><br \/>\nIn Report section, you can see many Reports Category are available and each Report Category will have many reports into it. Few days back, Management Team ask to create new Report Category Management Report and that Report Category should be available only for Management Team User and other few users.<br \/>\nThis can be implemented by a simple trick. Below are the steps that you need to follow to provide access to selected Sage CRM users.<br \/>\n1) Navigate to Administration | Customization | Users entity.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Group11.jpg\"><br \/>\n<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/R1.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-11745\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/R1.jpg\" alt=\"R1\" width=\"595\" height=\"362\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n2)\u00a0Create a new field with field type checkbox as &#8216;user_reportaccess&#8217;.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/R2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11746\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/R2.jpg\" alt=\"R2\" width=\"526\" height=\"295\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n3)\u00a0Navigate to Screens tab and add this field on UserAdminExtraBox screen as shown below.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/R3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11747\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/R3.jpg\" alt=\"R3\" width=\"651\" height=\"379\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n4)\u00a0Navigate to Users to which you wanted to display Management Reports and select the Report Access checkbox for them as shown below.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/R4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11748\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/R4.jpg\" alt=\"R4\" width=\"651\" height=\"451\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n5)\u00a0Now, navigate to Advance Customization | System Menu and click on pencil icon of ReportsTabGroup.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/R5.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11749\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/R5.jpg\" alt=\"R5\" width=\"650\" height=\"429\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n6)\u00a0Select Management Reports Category and add below SQL condition in the SQL section\u00a0of Properties section.<br \/>\n<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">user_reportaccess =&#8217;Y&#8217;<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/R6.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11750\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/R6.jpg\" alt=\"R6\" width=\"652\" height=\"432\" \/><\/a><\/span><br \/>\n7) Click on Update button and then click on <strong>Save.<\/strong><br \/>\nNow Login to Sage CRM with any user for which Report Access checkbox is not checked and you will observe that Management Reports category will not be visible.
