Security Profile is a way of grouping users to define particular rights to them.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #993300;\"><em><strong>New Stuff:<\/strong><\/em><\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/2016\/01\/30\/interactive-dashboard-permission-denied-issue\/\" target=\"_blank\">Interactive Dashboard \u2013 Permission Denied Issue<\/a><br \/>\nSo in future if we need to make changes in rights then we can do it at profile level and it will get reflected for all users. This reduces extra efforts of assigning rights to every single user. In addition to Profile access rights, we can further divide user rights by territory. Below is the area where we can define access rights.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Territory1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-11938 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Territory1-1024x315.jpg\" alt=\"Territory1\" width=\"595\" height=\"183\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nWe can set up access rights on Home territory. So that user can view the all data created in his territory. But, what if we want to give access to user from particular profile to view data of another territory. As we can see in the following screenshot, there is no option available in the \u201c<strong>Profile rights for<\/strong>\u201d field to select Territory.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Territory2.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-11940 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Territory2-1024x278.jpg\" alt=\"Territory2\" width=\"595\" height=\"162\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nTo allow Territory options to be available in above field, go through below steps.<br \/>\n1. Login to CRM.<br \/>\n2. Go to Administration -&gt; Users -&gt; Security -&gt; Security Policies -&gt; Change.<br \/>\n3. Set \u201cAllow absolute territories in profiles\u201d field to Yes and save.<br \/>\nOnce we are done with this changes then all the territories will be available in \u201cProfile rights for\u201d field.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Territory3.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-11941 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Territory3-1024x392.jpg\" alt=\"Territory3\" width=\"595\" height=\"228\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nAfter making above changes select the territory (for e.g. Europe) from \u201cProfile rights for\u201d field and follow below steps.<br \/>\n1. Select the \u201cAdd Profile To This Territory\u201d button. The Add Profile panel is displayed.<br \/>\n2. Select the Operations profile and click Save button. The Security Profiles page is displayed.<br \/>\n3. Click on the hyperlink of the Operations profile. The Rights panel for the Operations profile opened in edit mode.<br \/>\n4.
