In this blog post, we will explain how styles can be applied to Sage CRM fields by client side API.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong><em>New Stuff:<\/em><\/strong><\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/2016\/02\/20\/restrict-users-to-create-order-if-credit-limit-is-exceeded\/\" target=\"_blank\">Restrict Users to create order if Credit Limit is exceeded<br \/>\n<\/a>Let\u2019s consider that you want to apply style for the fields of Opportunity entity screens. Here are the steps that you need to follow.<br \/>\n1) Login to Sage CRM.<br \/>\n2) Navigate to below path.<br \/>\nAdministration | Customization | Opportunity.<br \/>\n3) Navigate to Screens tab and click on the Opportunity Top Content screen.<br \/>\n4) Copy and Paste below code into the Custom Content section of screen.<\/p>\n<p>&lt;script&gt;<br \/>\ncrm.ready(function()<br \/>\n{<br \/>\ncrm.fields(&#8220;oppo_description&#8221;).background(&#8220;pink&#8221;);<br \/>\ncrm.fields(&#8220;oppo_description&#8221;).caption().background(&#8220;pink&#8221;);<br \/>\n})<br \/>\n&lt;\/script&gt;<br \/>\n5) Click on <strong>Save <\/strong>button.<br \/>\nOnce done, navigate to Opportunity Summary Screen and you will observe that Opportunity Description field will have background color on it.
