Migration process starts after restoring the Act! backup provided by customer. In below blog we will discuss about how to take backup of Act! database.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #a52a2a;\"><strong>New Stuff:<\/strong><\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/2016\/07\/28\/send-e-mails-to-multiple-contacts-in-sage-crm-7-3\/\">Send e-mails to Multiple Contacts in Sage CRM 7.3<\/a><br \/>\n1. Make sure you have logged into your database as an Administrator user.<br \/>\n2. Go To <strong>File |\u00a0 Backup | Database<br \/>\n<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/11.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13066\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/11.jpg\" alt=\"1\" width=\"466\" height=\"460\" \/><br \/>\n<\/a>3. Click Browse and then browse to location you wish to save the backup file. Give the file name(if desired), then click on <strong>Save<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/21.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-13067\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/21.jpg\" alt=\"2\" width=\"342\" height=\"187\" \/><br \/>\n<\/a>4. Decide whether you wish to include attachments by either setting Include Attachments Checkbox to checked or not checked.<br \/>\n<strong><em>Note.\u00a0 If you are taking backup for our GUMU&#x2122; migration process then kindly unchecked this option. JFYI, in our <\/em><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/2014\/06\/27\/act-to-sage-crm-migration-using-gumu\/\"><strong><em>GUMU&#x2122; for Act! to Sage CRM migration<\/em><\/strong><\/a><strong><em> process we only migrate Document\u2019s link in library entity of Sage CRM. After migration process you can follow process given in below link to view document in Sage CRM.<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/2012\/06\/08\/migrate-your-documents-to-sage-crm-using-gumu\/\">Migrate your document to Sage CRM using GUMU&#x2122;<\/a><br \/>\n5.
