Sage CRM has standard feature to search accurate data. I.e. Keyword Search. With this functionality CRM user can perform search across all text fields available on the Entity search screen.
\nRecently, one our client came up with Global Search functionality, where in Search functionality is needed on the Top Content of the Entity. With this search they can find multiple entity data like Company, Person, and Opportunity etc. Global search always available in top Content of all Primary entity.

\n2) When we search Company, Person, and Opportunities, search result would open in a new window. So they can edit the company and then quickly go to another search in their other window.
