In GUMU™ for Sage CRM \u2013 Sage EM Integration<\/a>, we have provided with feature where user can create Sage CRM grids<\/a>, panels<\/a> to display information from Sage X3 on real time basis. We had seen this in our previous blogs.
\nIn this blog, we will discuss how to create Web Service objects in Sage X3 so that we can use it in Sage CRM for creating Panels. These Panels will display information from Sage X3 using GUMU customizer on real time basis.<\/p>\n

Below are the steps to create Web Service object on Sage X3. Please note that, for doing this, you will need to Sage X3 web service pool already configured and working in Sage X3 as a pre-requisite.<\/p>\n

  1. Log in to Sage X3.<\/li>\n
  2. Navigate to Development->Script Dictionary>Scripts->Web Services.<\/li>\n
  3. Click on New<\/strong> button and enter the appropriate publication name<\/strong> and Description<\/strong> that would be used for panels in GUMU customizer.\"\"<\/a><\/li>\n
  4. Select Object<\/strong> radio button as Type of Web services<\/li>\n
  5. Select the appropriate table object<\/strong> code<\/strong> from which you want to display data into Sage CRM .<\/li>\n
  6. Select the entry transaction in the Transaction<\/strong> field to through which we want to display data if applicable. Generally these transaction are available for order, invoice objects.<\/li>\n
  7. Click on Create<\/strong> and then Save<\/strong> button. This will create Web Service object with publication name you defined.<\/li>\n
  8. Click on the Publication<\/strong> button to publish it. Once it is published, we can use it in our GUMU customizer to display data in Sage CRM panel screens.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
