In GUMU™ for Sage CRM \u2013 Sage X3 integration<\/a>, we have provided with feature where user can create Sage CRM\u00a0grids<\/a>,\u00a0panels\u00a0<\/a>to display information from Sage X3 on real time basis. We had seen this in our previous blogs.
\nIn this blog, we will discuss how to create Web Service Views (view) in Sage X3 so that we can use it in Sage CRM.<\/p>\n

New\u00a0Stuff:<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Pre\u2013 Requisites for installing GUMU for sage CRM- Sage ERP X3<\/a><\/p>\n

Below are the steps to create Web Service Views (view) in Sage X3. Please note that, for doing this Sage X3 web service pool should be already configured and working in Sage X3 as a pre-requisite.
\n1. Log in to Sage X3.
\n2. Navigate to Development<\/strong> => Data and Parameters<\/strong> => Views<\/strong>.
\n\"\"<\/a>3. Click on\u00a0New\u00a0<\/strong>button and enter the appropriate\u00a0View Code<\/strong> which is name of the view, Abbreviation\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Description<\/strong>.
\n4. Enter the correct SQL query in SQL server section for which you want to access the data through web services.
\n5. Click on Fields<\/strong> Tab and enter details of the fields which you need to access from the view.
\n6. After completing above steps click on Create<\/strong> button, this will create a view into Sage X3.
\n\"\"<\/a>7. Once the view is created it should be linked with an interface.
\n8. Navigate to Development<\/strong> => Safe X3 WAS<\/strong> => Interface<\/strong>.
\n9. Click on\u00a0New\u00a0<\/strong>button and enter the appropriate\u00a0Interface Code<\/strong> (web service name) and\u00a0Description<\/strong>.
\n10. Select the Interface Type as \u201cGenerated access to view<\/strong>\u201d and enter the View code as the view which we created above.
\n11. Enter the value in the Publication<\/strong> name<\/strong> field. Please note that the Interface<\/strong> code<\/strong> and Publication<\/strong> name<\/strong> field value should be same.
\n12. After completing above click on Create<\/strong> button.
\n13. Now click on \u201cGenerate access<\/strong>\u201d which gets enabled once interface is created.
\n\"\"<\/a>Generate web services screen appears check all the check boxes for the fields which we created in the view and click \u201cOK<\/strong>\u201d validate the Interface by clicking on the Validate button.
\n14. Next Navigate to Development<\/strong> => Script<\/strong> Dictionary<\/strong> => Scripts<\/strong> => Web<\/strong> Services<\/strong>.
\n\"\"<\/a>15. Find the subprogram name from Publication<\/strong> name<\/strong>. Click on the\u00a0Publication\u00a0<\/strong>button to publish it. Once it is published, we can use this Sage X3 webservices to fetch data from Sage X3.
