By far we all know, Sage CRM<\/a> is used to capture and manage Business’s Sales and Service data along with the proper linking\/management with respective Customers. Entities such as\u00a0Case, Lead, Opportunity, Quotes and Orders etc. helps in recording Sales and Service data in system.\u00a0Users can\u00a0capture\u00a0the data in these\u00a0entities using the\u00a0New<\/strong>\u00a0button available at top right hand side corner as shown below.<\/p>\n

New Stuff:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>Hide \u2026 (Ellipses) Tab from Tab Group in Sage CRM<\/span><\/a><\/span>
\n\"\"<\/a>Recently we came across a requirement, where the data which is being entered in the system\u00a0needs to be done from Company context only to ensure the proper Company linking. For this we have to hide the New<\/strong> button. To achieve the same we followed below steps.<\/p>\n

  1. Created a JavaScript file with below mentioned code in \u201c<CRM Installation Path> \\WWWRoot\\js\\custom\\\u201d folder.

  2. Login into CRM<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  3. Go to Administration -> System -> Metadata<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  4. Check Refresh All<\/strong> checkbox and click on Execute Refresh<\/strong> button.
    \nNavigate to any screen in CRM, you can see that New<\/strong> button on the top right corner is now unseen.
