CRM\u2019s Email Manager Service runs in the background to process the inbound and outbound emails in CRM. There is no need to install Email Manager Functionality separately as it comes by default with the CRM installation. This functionality can work with CRM\u2019s embedded email editor or Microsoft Outlook to send an email out of the CRM.<\/p>\n

As explained above, we can use CRM\u2019s embedded email editor to send emails. For e.g. when you click on the hyperlink of email address, new email screen gets open by default, or when we reply or forward an email, CRM\u2019s email editor gets opened as shown in below image.

\nSuppose, if you don\u2019t want to open the CRM\u2019s email editor by clicking on Email address hyperlink or while replying or forwarding an email. Follow below steps to achieve the same.<\/p>\n

  1. Login to CRM<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Go to Administration -> E-mail and Documents -> E-mail Configuration<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Set the \u201cUse CRM’s embedded E-mail editor\u201d<\/strong> to “No”<\/strong>.

  4. After doing the above configuration in CRM, when you click on Reply or Forward button, then it will ask for the option to open the email editor like Outlook, chrome etc. Please refer below screenshot for the same.
