GROUPS <\/strong>is a very efficient feature provided by SAGE CRM <\/strong>using which we can collectivelly refer to the several entity records at the same time for performing particular action. This functionality is available for all the standard entities <\/strong>in SAGE CRM like Company<\/strong>, Person<\/strong>, Cases<\/strong>, opportunities <\/strong>etc.<\/p>\n

Now, what if you want this functionality for the custom entity<\/strong>. Well, we have a component <\/strong>which does the same. See the working of the component as mentioned below.<\/p>\n

First, we have created one custom entity named “Main<\/strong>” in CRM<\/strong>. Then, we have provided one button <\/strong>named as \u201cAdd this Record to Group<\/strong>\u201d on the summary page of this entity as shown below:<\/p>\n

Clicking on this button <\/strong>will open a new popup window <\/strong>which will list out all the static groups <\/strong>related to that custom entity<\/strong>, as shown below:<\/p>\n

If user clicks on the \u201cSave<\/strong>\u201d button, it will first check whether this particular custom entity record <\/strong>has been already added to the selected Group<\/strong> or not. If it is not added, then it will add the same to that group.<\/p>\n
