In our previous blog<\/a>, we have discussed our Modification related to Link server in GUMU™ for Sage CRM \u2013 Sage X3 integration<\/a>. Here we will discuss creating Link server in case if multiple Sage X3 folders are integrated with a single instance of Sage CRM using our GUMU™ for Sage CRM \u2013 Sage Enterprise Management integration.<\/p>\n

New Stuff<\/strong>:<\/i><\/em><\/span>\u00a0<\/i><\/em>GUMU™ Integration is compatible with new Sage X3 v11 along with Sage CRM 2017 R2<\/u><\/a><\/p>\n

As GUMU™ for Sage CRM \u2013 Sage X3 integration supports multiple folder integration, hence multiple SQL Link servers also need to be created for Import processes to work.<\/p>\n

If a user is having Multiple Sage X3 folder\/server and he wants to connect that new Sage X3 folder with the single instance of Sage CRM then, in that case, user will have to Create a Link server manually by using VB Script file (i.e. CreateSQLLinServerForNewFolder).<\/p>\n

This file is located at GUMU Installation directory (i.e. C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Greytrix\\GUMU for Sage CRM – Sage X3). Assuming GUMU is installed in C drive. For creating Link server for new Sage X3 folder, a user will have to double-click on that utility which will ask you the below details.

\n\"\"<\/a>It will create a new Link Server in Sage CRM SQL server with GUMUCRMX3_FolderName format as below.
\n\"\"<\/a>Note<\/strong>:- Please note that if Sage CRM and Sage X3 SQL are on different server then both CRM and X3 SQL should be accessible from each other\u2019s server.<\/p>\n
