Lets consider for an example <strong>Opportunity Summary Report<\/strong>.You can generate this report by clicking <strong>Summary Report <\/strong>button provided on <strong>Opportunity Summary screen<\/strong>. Now, suppose you want to have one more <strong>field <\/strong>inside this report say for example <strong>City <\/strong>value of <strong>Address<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>If you will observe carefully, you can find that the <strong>view <\/strong>that is responsible to generate this <strong>report <\/strong>is <strong>vSearchListOpportunity<\/strong> view under opportunity entity. <strong>OpportunityReportSummary <\/strong>screen makes use of this view to display values in the <strong>report<\/strong>. You can modify this <strong>view <\/strong>to add the new fields of your choice.<\/p>\n<p>Well, your job is yet not done. After following the above given steps,if you will try generating the <strong>Summary report <\/strong>you will get an error like field not found, because there is another <strong>view <\/strong>getting affected and that is <strong>vReportOpportunity<\/strong>.
