Its functionality is to allow individual Sales Users to enter forecasts using their opportunity pipeline.<br \/>\nForecasts tab can be seen on My CRM. Sometimes when we try to create a new Forecast for the current year, you might see an error i.e. No forecast Quarters available to create the new Forecast.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Forecast.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1899\" title=\"Forecast\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Forecast.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"683\" height=\"270\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nAfter a bit of brainstorming we found that the current year configurations are missing in the Translations. To solve this issue first we need to add a forecasting period for the current year.<br \/>\nSimple steps to add a forecasting period:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to Administration | Customization | Translations<\/li>\n<li>Click on New Button.<\/li>\n<li>Fill the data in the following manner.<br \/>\nCaption Code\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0: 2012-Q1<br \/>\nCaption Family\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0: Quarter<br \/>\nCaption Family Type : Choices<br \/>\nUS Translation\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0:\u00a0 2012 &#8211; Quarter 1<br \/>\nUK Translation\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0: 2012 &#8211; Quarter 1<br \/>\nFrench Translation\u00a0\u00a0: 2012 &#8211; Quarter 1<br \/>\nGerman Translation\u00a0 : 2012 &#8211; Quarter 1<\/li>\n<li>Similarly create the other translation for Period 2. Please refer below screen shot.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Forecast2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1900\" title=\"Forecast2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Forecast2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"683\" height=\"301\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nOnce you are done with adding the Periods in Translations, then do a metadata refresh.
