This feature has proved very useful for the Call Center users who needs to find Customer information as well as the records linked with them at one go.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>New Stuff<\/strong>:<\/em>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/2018\/09\/11\/configuring-quick-find-feature-in-sage-crm-2018-r2-onwards\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Configuring Quick Find feature in Sage CRM 2018 R2 onwards<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Recently the Quick Find functionality suddenly stopped working at my end. Since, the working of this functionality depends on the \u201c<strong>CRM QuickFind<\/strong>\u201d service so, I checked whether it is running or not by navigating to <strong>Administration\u00a0-&gt;\u00a0System\u00a0-&gt;\u00a0Quick Find <\/strong>in CRM. But, the Status of the service was showing as <strong>Stopped<\/strong>. Please refer below screenshot for the same.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-20285\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/QFind1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1217\" height=\"492\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/QFind1.jpg 1217w, https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/QFind1-300x121.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/QFind1-768x310.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/QFind1-1024x414.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/QFind1-660x267.jpg 660w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1217px) 100vw, 1217px\" \/><br \/>\nI tried to restart the service by clicking on \u201c<strong>Restart Quick Find<\/strong>\u201d button, as shown in above screenshot. But, still it was showing the same status. So, I opened the Service console and checked for \u201c<strong>CRM QuickFind<\/strong>\u201d service. Over there it was showing the service status as \u201c<strong>Running<\/strong>\u201d. Refer below screenshot.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-20286\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/QFind2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1259\" height=\"530\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/QFind2.jpg 1259w, https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/QFind2-300x126.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/QFind2-768x323.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/QFind2-1024x431.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/QFind2-660x278.jpg 660w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1259px) 100vw, 1259px\" \/><br \/>\nFor further investigation, we checked the Keyword Search logs and found some error related to \u201c<strong>CRMj<\/strong>\u201d directory as shown in below screenshot.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-20287\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/QFind3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"958\" height=\"349\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/QFind3.jpg 958w, https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/QFind3-300x109.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/QFind3-768x280.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/QFind3-660x240.jpg 660w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 958px) 100vw, 958px\" \/>Even on debugging from Browser, we were getting below error.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-20288\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/QFind4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1342\" height=\"631\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/QFind4.jpg 1342w, https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/QFind4-300x141.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/QFind4-768x361.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/QFind4-1024x481.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/QFind4-660x310.jpg 660w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1342px) 100vw, 1342px\" \/>Since the above error log shows error related to sdata, we checked whether the <strong>Apache tomcat<\/strong> and <strong>URL Rewrite<\/strong> is working or not. Over there, we found that tomcat was stopped. After restarting the tomcat service, the QuickFind functionality was working fine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CRM Quick Find<\/strong> and <strong>Sage CRM tomcat<\/strong> service works parallel to each other to deliver the Quick Find result set.
