As you all know, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sagesoftware.co.in\/product-sage-crm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sage CRM<\/a> has helped to manage all the business related chores such as maintaining Customer database, managing Enquires and Opportunities of these customers, logging of service tickets, and scheduling appointments and so on. The communication records can also be created against these primary entities in CRM. But what if you need to capture communication details against any custom entity of CRM?<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>New&nbsp;Stuff:<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/em><a title=\"Permalink to SAGE CRM 2017: Change the Display format of Dates in Calendar\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/2018\/09\/12\/sage-crm-2017-change-the-display-format-of-dates-in-calendar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"bookmark noopener noreferrer\">SAGE CRM 2017: Change the Display format of Dates in Calendar<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Regarding<\/strong> field on the Communication screen, helps to link the particular record i.e. Opportunity, Case, Quote, Order etc. with the communication i.e. appointments or tasks. To link a CRM\u2019s Custom entity record, we need to make the Entity available under the <strong>Regarding<\/strong> <em>(About)<\/em> field\u2019s list. To do the same, follow below steps &#8211;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Add the Custom Entity in the list of Search Select Advance as search entity, you can refer below link for the same.<\/li>\n<li>Create the new SSA field in Communication entity as shown in the below screenshot. Go to <strong>Administration -&gt; Customisation -&gt; Communication<\/strong>, click on New Button<br \/>\n<img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-20369 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/img1-5.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"657\" height=\"367\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/img1-5.jpg 657w, https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/img1-5-300x168.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 657px) 100vw, 657px\" \/><\/li>\n<li>Here <strong>\u201cConsentManagement\u201d<\/strong> is the custom entity, which will be added in the <strong>Search entity<\/strong> list by adding the Custom Entity in the list of Search Select Advance.<\/li>\n<li>Now change the Properties of <strong>Regarding<\/strong> field of communication entity.
