User can search standard and custom entities data using this feature on one single action. The added benefit is that it also helps users to navigate to summary view of the record.<\/p>\n<p>Recently one of our customer reported issue searching data for a custom entity. The customer was able to search data but unable to navigate to summary view of that particular record.<\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>New Stuff: <\/strong><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/2018\/09\/26\/quick-appointments-for-another-user-in-sage-crm-2018-r3\/\">Quick Appointments for another user in SAGE CRM 2018 R3<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n<p>We tried to restart the service by clicking on \u201cRestart Quick Find\u201d button, to see if this helps. But, still we were unable to navigate to the summary view of that particular entity records. For further investigation, we checked the Keyword Search logs and found nothing related to the error which we are facing.<\/p>\n<p>During the course of investigation we checked <strong>custom_board<\/strong> table to look for the reasons of this behavior and identified there is one field name <strong>Bord_EntityKind<\/strong> is dependent for the hyperlink. The value was set to null on this field. We checked in other Sage CRM and found the value in these field needs to be \u2018asp\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-20491\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/3.jpg\" alt=\"Bord_EntityKind\" width=\"944\" height=\"186\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/3.jpg 944w, https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/3-300x59.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/3-768x151.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/10\/3-660x130.jpg 660w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 944px) 100vw, 944px\" \/>Post updating the value we are successfully able to navigate to summary view of the record.
