As we all know Sage CRM<\/a> is flexible enough when it comes to incorporating customizations. Other ease comes with the various types of fields available in CRM like numeric, text, date-time, currency, selection, multi-selection etc. These different field types not only helps in easy data capturing but also in searching the data. But what if you want to restrict the search results limit by removing the All or None options?<\/p>\n

New Stuff: <\/em><\/strong>Highlight Text in Grid using Sage CRM Client-Side API<\/a><\/p>\n

In Standard Sage CRM<\/a> there is no way to hide or exclude All or None<\/strong> options from the selection field, however the same can be achieved with the help of jQuery or JavaScript. It will be good for one or two selection fields but what when there are N number of fields? It will be a time consuming task and also there can be a possibility of script loading issue.<\/p>\n

To avoid such discrepancies, we opted for a one liner command as explained in below example.  Here we are excluding values from the Case Search screen of Case Entity.<\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> Go to Administration –> Customization –> Cases<\/strong>
\n2.<\/strong> From the Screens<\/strong> Tab, open Case Search Screen.
\n3.<\/strong> Add the below code in Create script<\/strong> of Stage field, click on Update button and save the screen.
