In the latest version of Sage CRM 2018 R3, many new functionalities are been added to it. We all are aware of the Calendar List functionality been introduced in Sage CRM 2018 R3. Calendar List allows us to view Communications created for a User in a more easy and responsive manner. It also allows sorting and filtering of Data. But Calendar List only shows the communications whose action are \u201cTask\u201d and \u201cAppointment\u201d. What if we need to show all the communications irrespective of its Action? Well in this blog, we will tell you how this can be achieved by following a simple step.<\/p>\n

New Stuff:<\/span>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Features of Calendar List in Sage CRM 2018 R3<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Calendar List populates the data on the basis of view written in \u201cvCalendarList<\/strong>\u201d. \u00a0So if we want to make any changes to the data displayed in the Calendar List, we can do it simply by modifying view vCalendarList. For example, by default Communication who\u2019s Action are \u201cTask<\/strong>\u201d and \u201cAppointment<\/strong>\u201d are displayed, refer below screenshot:

\nBut we want to show all the communications for a user irrespective of it action. To do this follow below steps:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Log into Sage CRM as Sage CRM Administrator<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. Navigate to Administration | Customization | Communication.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Click on \u201cViews\u201d<\/strong> Panel<\/li>\n
  4. Click on \u201cvCalendarList<\/strong>\u201d. Refer below screenshot:

  5. Click on Change<\/strong><\/li>\n
  6. In below screenshot, you can see that at the end of the view there is where condition added i.e. \u201cand Comm_Type in (N’Appointment’, N’Task’)\u201d

    \n<\/strong><\/li>\n
  7. Remove \u201cand Comm_Type in (N’Appointment’, N’Task’)<\/strong>\u201d condition from this.
    \nNote<\/strong>: <\/strong>The above condition can also be changes as: \u201cand Comm_Type in (N’Appointment’, N’Task’, ‘Email’)<\/strong>\u201d<\/li>\n
  8. Click on Save<\/strong> So the final view will look something like below:

  9. Now, navigate to My CRM -> Calendar List, you can see that communication with all the action is displayed. Refer below screenshot:
