Managing Documents is one of the most useful and flexible feature within Sage CRM<\/a>. The Documents tab serves as an interface to all documents and templates that are stored in the\u00a0Sage CRM<\/a>\u00a0library. Users can link a copy of the merged document, attach a copy of a document generated outside\u00a0Sage CRM<\/a>\u00a0to a record, can view merged and uploaded documents etc. But have you ever faced an issue while trying to upload a document in CRM?<\/p>\n

New Stuff:\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Group by column in calendar List \u2013 Sage CRM 2018 R3<\/a><\/p>\n

One of our client came up with the issue that he was not able to upload the document even when the document was attached. You can see below screen shot.<\/p>\n

\nSince Document upload feature is dependent on Apache Tomcat service, our first step was to check the status of tomcat service whether it is in running mode or not. And later, to check some other functionalities of CRM which are dependent on tomcat service such as Dashboards, Export to excel etc.<\/p>\n

We also checked physical root directory<\/strong> where all the documents are stored in CRM which is configured at Administration\u00a0->\u00a0E-mail and Documents\u00a0->\u00a0Documents & Reports Configuration.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Over here, we found that the path of\u00a0Physical root directory for mail merged documents<\/strong> is missing as highlighted in below screenshot.<\/p>\n
