In our earlier posts, we have discussed how Data Upload Routine works and its troubleshooting if any issues encountered during Data Upload routine. During Data Upload routine, recently we came across another issue. In this blog, we will discuss what the issue was and how it has been resolved.<\/p>\n

New Stuff:<\/em><\/strong> Unable to Upload File in Sage CRM<\/a><\/p>\n

Recently we came across warning message saying \u201cCRM is unable to proceed with this data upload as the Tomcat Server appears to be stopped<\/em>\u201d. Refer below screenshot.<\/p>\n

\nWe were wondering since Data Upload routine is a native Data upload functionality. As message suggested, we check if Tomcat Service was stopped. But we found that Tomcat service was running as expected.<\/p>\n

However after some research we found that, this issue was related to configuration. Below are the steps that we have followed to get this resolve.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Navigate to Administration | E-mail and Documents | Documents & Reports Configuration<\/li>\n
  2. Change \u201cReport Generator maximum Memory (MB)\u201d value from 2048 to 1024. (Sometimes it is already 1024, in that case you can try to make it to 512)\"\"<\/li>\n
  3. Click on Save button to save changes.<\/li>\n
  4. Do Metadata Refresh<\/strong> and Run IISRESET <\/strong>command.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    After making above change, Data Upload routine worked as expected.<\/p>\n
