It enables you to search the records on the fly, also provides you the find screen for detailed searching of an item we are looking for. However it doesn\u2019t seem to work correctly on the self-service portal. I add SSA field on Case screen in CRM it works great, but if I add the similar field to the selfservice screen the default behaviour seems like lost. Check below screens.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Screen1.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2331\" title=\"Screen1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Screen1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"436\" height=\"332\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nSimilar field when added to Self-service screen it looks like below but dies not work.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Screen2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2332\" title=\"Screen2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/Screen2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"445\" height=\"220\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nSo\u00a0if you have comparatively less number of items, a better option is to replace the field with Selection field at runtime. Below is the basic approach you can take to do the same.<br \/>\n1. Make the field readonly.<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 var EProduct = BlockObj.GetEntry(&#8216;case_product&#8217;);<br \/>\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 EProduct.ReadOnly = true;<br \/>\n2.
