With the help of this portal you can provide your customers with anytime, anywhere access to resources and information. Customers can log into New Self Service portal and typically perform following tasks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>View Account Information<\/strong>: They can view the cases logged through New Self Service.<\/li><li><strong>Report a Problem<\/strong>:&nbsp; Customer can report a problem using Create Case\/Ticket functionality<\/li><li><strong>Request a Product Information<\/strong>: Customer can request a product information through Newsletter functionality available in Self Service.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>New Stuff:<\/em><\/strong> <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Incorporate Case filter screen in Self Service portal (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/2019\/12\/02\/incorporate-case-filter-screen-in-self-service-portal\/\" target=\"_blank\">Incorporate Case filter screen in Self Service portal<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From the release of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/product\/crm-development\/sage-crm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Sage CRM (opens in a new tab)\">Sage CRM<\/a> 2019 R1, a new version of self service has been launched. As per the Customer&#8217;s requirement, we modified standard new case screen and added few additional fields as per mention in below screenshot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Selfservice2-1024x546.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px;\" \nsrc=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/Selfservice2-1024x546.jpg\" alt=\"Modified Case Entry screen\"><\/a>\n\n<font size=\"2\"><center><i>Modified Case Entry screen<\/i><\/center><\/font><\/p><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>As you all know, Close By field is a date field in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/product\/crm-development\/sage-crm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Sage CRM (opens in a new tab)\">Sage CRM<\/a>. But, in Self Service Portal, it is showing as text field and you need to convert the same into date field manually in order to view calendar control. Follow below steps to do the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Copy \u201c<strong>jquery-ui.min.js<\/strong>\u201d file from \u201c<strong>&lt;CRM Directory&gt;\\&lt;CRMName&gt;\\WWWRoot\\js\\lib\\<\/strong>\u201d folder to \u201c<strong>&lt;CRMSelfservice Directory&gt;\\script\\client\\<\/strong>\u201d folder.<\/li><li>Copy \u201c<strong>jquery-ui.css<\/strong>\u201d from \u201c<strong>&lt;CRM Directory&gt;\\&lt;CRMName&gt;\\WWWRoot\\Themes\\jquery\\<\/strong>\u201d folder to \u201c<strong>&lt;CRMSelfservice Directory&gt;\\css\\<\/strong>\u201d folder.<\/li><li>Copy \u201c<strong>calCalendar.gif<\/strong>\u201d image from \u201c<strong>&lt;CRM Directory&gt;\\&lt;CRMName&gt;\\WWWRoot\\Themes\\Img\\Ergonomic\\Buttons\\<\/strong>\u201d folder to \u201c<strong>&lt;CRMSelfservice Directory&gt;\\gif\\<\/strong>\u201d folder.<\/li><li>Open \u201c<strong>mc_client.js<\/strong>\u201d page from \u201c<strong>&lt;CRMSelfservice Directory&gt;\\script\\client\\<\/strong>\u201d folder.
