Sage CRM always provides super handy functionality to users, which is supportive in daily tasks. For users like marketing or sales one of the time saving feature provided by Sage CRM is Gadget\u2019s on dashboard. Gadgets are shows information of entities as per user\u2019s preference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Stuff:<\/em> Client Side Script to Concatenate Address<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we know, when the custom entity is added to Sage CRM using the Advanced Customization Wizard<\/strong> (Entity Wizard) only the tables is created. For now we assume user creating custom entity name as \u201cMachine<\/strong>\u201d. If user wants to create a Gadget for custom entity they found below the message that \u201cThere are no data resource available\u201d as shown in below screenshot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\"Dashboard\"<\/a>\n

As we know only the table is created. To create a data resource for gadget i.e. Reports, Saved Searches or Save Advance find etc. For creating this refer below link: 3 Easy Steps to Add Sage CRM Custom Entity in Advanced Find<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n\"Report\"<\/a>\n

Report<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n

To create Report<\/strong> or Group<\/strong> as a data resource for custom entity. Need to create the source view for that. To create, view follow the step 1 in above link. After the view is created its available for report and group. As shown in below screenshot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"Advance<\/a>\n

To Create Saved Advanced Search <\/strong>for custom entity, first we need to add custom entity in the entity list. To add the custom entity in Entity list follow the Step 2 and Step 3 in above link,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the procedure completed as shown in above link. User can see Custom entity option in entity list as shown in below screenshot. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For adding Advanced Saved search for custom entity refer the below link, Constructing Complex Saved Searches using Advanced Find in Sage CRM <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAfter user completes above steps they can see a\ndata resource for custom entity to create gadgets. As below and easily add\ngadgets for custom entity.\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"Gadget<\/a>\n
