Sage CRM<\/a>\u2019s reporting tool has helped to get a clear picture of all the work data in a very efficient way. Users can either fetch all the data at once or apply various criteria such as date, company, or stage of the record to get the data in an appropriate manner. Different report display options is an additional advantage to get the data in different formats. But have you ever faced such an issue where the report was visible through screen option but not in excel?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Stuff: <\/strong>Issue while loading records on Ticket List in Self Service Portal<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While working in Sage CRM<\/a> 2018 R3 version, we faced a very strange issue where the report data was visible on screen and pdf; however on trying to extract the data in excel we faced error called \u201cAn error occurred while running the report. Error generating report\u201d.<\/strong> You can refer below screen shot for your reference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First we thought it could be because of the Tomcat service failure. You can refer below link –

However\non trying on fetch other reports data in excel worked successfully.\nWe couldn\u2019t even find any error details in SQL or System logs as\nwell. Thus the only alternative left was to remove every output\ncolumn one at a time and run the report. That\u2019s when we could\nidentify that the Integer field which was added in report output made\nit crash. \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On\nfurther analysis, we found that unchecking the “Show\nSummary Data”<\/strong>\ncheck box from the last page of report configuration solved the\nissue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In\nthis way you can overcome the issue while exporting reports to XLSX\nwith integer fields in reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
