Recently we received a requirement from one of our clients, where he wants to update the values of Sage 300 ERP in CRM without clicking on any buttons or performing any task, i.e. as soon as the user navigates to a company summary page, the user should be able to see the updated values of Sage 300 fields in CRM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, this can be achieved by writing Javascript and Server side code and configuring it in task scheduler. Continue reading below, to see how it can achieve<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Stuff: <\/em>Sage CRM \u2013 Sage 300 v2018 integration tips<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this blog we will be updating Sage 300 values of Territory, Price List, Customer Type
and Sales Person 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To achieve this, create 4 new text fields against company entity as specified below :<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Sage 300 Territory<\/li>
  2. Sage 300 Price List<\/li>
  3. Sage 300 Customer Type<\/li>
  4. Sage 300 Sales Person 1<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    And then add it to CompanyBoxLong Screen. Refere below screenshot:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"Sage<\/a>\n

    Now, we need to write a Javascript code and server side code, which will read updated values from Sage 300 Database and update the same in CRM field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    NOTE:<\/strong>
    Create Server Side Javascript function to read values from Sage 300 database and update values in Sage CRM fields. Next, we need to configure the Javascript file in Task scheduler which will run after interval of 15 mins and update\/sync the updated values from Sage 300 to Sage CRM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Now, in below screenshot you can see the details of customer with customer no 1550 in Sage 300 ERP is:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Sage 300 Territory : TX<\/li>
    2. Sage 300 Price List : WHS<\/li>
    3. Sage 300 Customer Type : Base<\/li>
    4. Sage 300 Sales Person 1 : BB<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n\"Customer<\/a>\n\n\n\n\"Customer<\/a>\n

      Now, ones we have configured and enabled the server side Javascript script in task scheduler to run after every 15 min, we can see that values are updated in CRM. Refer below screenshot:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\"Updated<\/a>\n

      As you can see above we can easily update Sage 300 fields value in Sage CRM by using Javascript server side code.
