IIS provides greater flexibility for the secure access to portals like Sage CRM. However sometimes the security features if wrongly configured which might effects the functionality of CRM. So in this blog will be having a look into one of the IIS setting which is use for resolving \u201c404 \u2013 file or directory not found\u201d after installation of CRM<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>New Stuff: <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/2020\/09\/30\/all-and-none-selection-option-missing-from-filter-dropdown\/\">\u201cAll\u201d and \u201cNone\u201d Selection option missing from Filter Dropdown<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes, after CRM is successfully installed on a server and when we run it in browser, we get an error stating, \u2018404 \u2013 file or directory not found, resource you are looking for might have been removed or is temporarily unavailable\u2019, as showing in below screenshot:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/1.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/1.png\" alt=\"404 Error Page\"><\/a>\n<font size=\"2\"><center><i>404 Error Page<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<p>Well if you see such a message, there is nothing to worry about, as there is a simple setting that needs to be done at the IIS level in order to get this working. So to do this we need to follow the below steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li>Start Run command<\/li><li>Type inetmgr in run window. This will open the IIS application.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/2.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/2.png\" alt=\"Inetmgr\"><\/a>\n<font size=\"2\"><center><i>Inetmgr<\/i><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<p>Expand Site -&gt; Default Web Site -&gt; Select the CRM, which is showing the error.
