For one of the customizations i was supposed to write a validation for a field on screen being used in custom ASP pages. I did the same by writing below <b>validate script<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>If ()<br \/>\n{<br \/>\nErrorStr = \u201c\u201d<br \/>\nValid = false;<br \/>\n}<\/p>\n<p>After this i used <b>Block.Validate() <\/b>in custom page to check if blog\u00a0is validated, but whenever a validation was fired, the error was displayed as given below. The error message was appearing both on panel as well as on top. Though this is not a great thing, this was one of the major designing issues reported by our client.<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\" href=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/_A6_b0zkYeSY\/TKliIPxdrKI\/AAAAAAAABHQ\/Y55S0WwaRgk\/s1600\/img1JPG.JPG\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/_A6_b0zkYeSY\/TKliIPxdrKI\/AAAAAAAABHQ\/Y55S0WwaRgk\/s640\/img1JPG.JPG\" alt=\"Error message in CRM\" width=\"640\" height=\"225\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Well, after <span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif'; font-size: 11pt; line-height: 115%;\">tickling <\/span>my mind a bit on this, i thought if i have a custom ASP page, why am i suppose to write validate script? So i wrote the validation script on server side when mode of the page is changed to <b>Save<\/b>. Now what about the message i.e. a standard red bar error on\u00a0top? Well, below is the HTML content that you can use to display error content using content block in your pages.
