Logs folder records Sage CRM System Related Logs, SQL Logs, Tomcat logs etc. In <strong>Sage CRM 2022 R1<\/strong>, Sage has enhanced the log functionality to change the default location of Log files.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>New Stuff<\/strong><\/em>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/\">Sage CRM 2022 R1: Insert email signature into replies and forwards<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In earlier Sage CRM versions, it was not possible to change the default location of Logs folder. However, Sage CRM Administrator can change Logs folder location. By default, Sage CRM stores its log files in \u201c%ProgramFiles(x86)%\\Sage\\CRM\\&lt;&lt;CRM_Instance&gt;&gt;\\Logs\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>System administrators can use the mklink tool provided by Microsoft to create a directory junction for this folder and any other folder where they want to store the log files.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Consider an example, if someone wants to change the default location of Logs folder from \u201c<strong>D:\\Program Files (x86)\\Sage\\CRM\\&lt;&lt;CRM_Instance&gt;&gt;\\Logs<\/strong>\u201d to \u201c<strong>D:\\Program Files (x86)\\Sage\\NewLogs<\/strong>\u201d then below are the steps which needs to be follow on Sage CRM server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Rename the native <strong>Logs<\/strong> folder which is available at below path as \u201c<strong>Logs_backup<\/strong>\u201d.<br><strong>D:\\Program Files (x86)\\Sage\\CRM\\&lt;&lt;CRM_Instance&gt;&gt;\\<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Img1.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Img1.png\" alt=\"\"><\/a><font size=\"2\"><center><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Create a new folder on the physical drive where you want to store Sage CRM log files. Consider you want to create NewLogs folder at below path.<br><strong>D:\\Program Files (x86)\\Sage\\<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Img2.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Img2.png\" alt=\"\"><\/a><font size=\"2\"><center><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Stop IIS. To stop the IIS run below command in command prompt.<br>iisreset \/stop<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Open the Command Prompt window. Note: Run it as administrator.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Enter below command which contains the path of original log files folder and the new folder.<br><strong>mklink \/J &#8220;D:\\Program Files (x86)\\Sage\\CRM\\CRM2022R1\\Logs\\&#8221; &#8220;D:\\Program Files (x86)\\Sage\\NewLogs\\&#8221;<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Img3.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full\" style=\"border: 1px solid #A9A9A9; padding: 2px; margin: 2px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/Img3.png\" alt=\"\"><\/a><font size=\"2\"><center><\/center><\/font>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Start IIS.
