One of the most effective features available in the Sage CRM<\/a> is Calendar<\/strong> and widely used feature as well. Sage CRM\u2019s Calendar tab helps the users to manage communications i.e. appointments and tasks such as taking a follow-up from the customer, sending an email, scheduling a call, etc. We have already written about the new features and enhancements launched with the release of Sage CRM 2022 R1. Now with the release of Sage CRM 2022 R1<\/strong>, Sage has introduced a new enhancement in the calendar and calendar list i.e., Automatically refresh calendar and calendar list<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Stuff:<\/em><\/strong> Sage CRM 2022 R1 \u2013 Resize table columns in the Email Templates<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the earlier versions of Sage CRM, user must manually refresh the calendar and calendar list to check whether any new task or appointment has been assigned by other users. Or Another option is to create on-screen notifications to alert the users about the task or appointment. Even though automatic refresh provision is given for cases, opportunities, and communications entities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To avoid such manual refresh for the calendar and calendar list or to create on-screen notifications, Sage added a new enhancement in the calendar and calendar list i.e., automatically refreshing calendar and calendar list. We the help of this new enhancement on the calendar and calendar list, now users will not need to manual refresh the calendar and calendar list or make any customization in CRM i.e., creating on-screen notifications.

For avoiding manual refresh for the calendar and calendar list, there is a setting given in the CRM system. Follow the below steps to set the automatic refresh interval in the system for calendar and calendar list:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Go to, Administration \u2192 System \u2192 System Behavior<\/span>
    <\/li>
  2. Click on the Change button on the System Behavior screen
    <\/li>
  3. Now find the field \u201cCalendar refresh interval\u201d<\/strong> field, add the value in the same field. The values added in the Calendar refresh interval field are in seconds. For example, if you added values in the Calendar refresh interval field as 60, then the calendar and calendar list page will be refreshed on every 60 seconds. You can refer to the below screenshot for setting calendar refresh intervals.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    4. Once you added value in the Calendar refresh interval field, then save the changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Now, go to the  Calendar or Calendar List, you will see that the page is refreshing on every 60 seconds of an interval. You can disable the calendar or calendar list refresh interval by setting the calendar refresh interval field value to a blank value or 0<\/strong>. By default the calendar refresh interval field is blank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In this way, with a few steps, you can auto refresh the calendar and calendar list page in the latest version of Sage CM 2022 R1. Auto-refresh for calendar and calendar list will be applicable for users in the CRM system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
