Since the standard Sage CRM Sales Quote\/Order screen supports only one salesperson, it created challenges in accurately tracking and allocating commissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To address this requirement, we implemented a custom enhancement that introduced several key features:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>A Split Commission option<\/strong> (Yes\/No) added to the Order Summary screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Support for assigning up to four additional sales representatives<\/strong>, each with defined commission percentages.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Automatic adjustment of the primary salesperson\u2019s commission percentage<\/strong> based on the remaining balance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>System-level checks<\/strong> to ensure the total commission always equals 100% and to prevent selecting the same salesperson more than once.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Effortless synchronization of all commission details to Sage 100<\/strong> during Sales Order promotion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Overview of the Split Commission Feature<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Split Commission feature lets you distribute commission across multiple sales representatives\u2014up to four additional reps\u2014alongside the primary salesperson.<br>A new <strong>Split Commission (Yes\/No)<\/strong> field appears on the Order Summary screen. If all validations pass, the order is promoted from Sage CRM to Sage 100.
