GUMU™ for Sage CRM \u2013 Sage X3 is a real-time, bi-directional integration solution. One of its key features is its high level of customization, allowing GUMU™ to be tailored to suit your company\u2019s specific business processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is<\/u><\/strong> Latitude<\/u><\/strong> and<\/u><\/strong> Longitude<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Latitude<\/strong> and Longitude<\/strong> are geographic coordinates used to identify the exact location of a place on Earth<\/strong>. <\/em>Latitude<\/strong>: Measures how far a place is north or south of the Equator<\/strong>. and Longitude<\/strong>: Measures how far a place is east or west of the Prime Meridian<\/strong>. In simple terms, latitude and longitude are numbers that tell the exact position of a location on the map or GPS.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For one of our clients, we have implemented a new customization to set the Latitude and Longitude<\/strong> of a customer based on their address and update these values in Sage X3<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To update the Latitude and Longitude in Sage X3, the user must first ensure that the customer address already exists in Sage X3<\/strong>. If the address is present, the user can click the \u201cLocate\u201d<\/strong> button to fetch the Latitude and Longitude values. These values will be updated in Sage CRM<\/strong> in the respective Latitude and Longitude fields. After that, the user can click the \u201cUpdate to Sage X3\u201d<\/strong> button to synchronize these values with Sage X3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the user can navigate to the GMap tab<\/strong>, click \u201cChange Coordinates\u201d<\/strong>, and drag and drop the map pin to the correct location. After saving, the coordinates will automatically be populated in the address fields. When the user clicks the \u201cUpdate to X3\u201d<\/strong> button, the Latitude and Longitude values will be synchronized with Sage X3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
