Recently, one of our customers approached us with a requirement to view sales data over longer periods directly within Sage CRM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The customer was already using the existing <strong>Rolling 12 Months<\/strong> field but wanted additional visibility into customer sales history over multiple years. They also wanted a quick way to see the total sales generated in the previous year without running separate reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To address this requirement, We implemented four new sales analysis fields within Sage CRM:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Rolling 24 Months<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rolling 36 Months<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rolling 60 Months<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Last Year Total (LY Total)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><strong>Requirement<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The customer wanted sales information that would help their team:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Analyze customer purchasing trends over longer periods<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compare sales performance across multiple years<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quickly access historical sales figures from within the CRM screen<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reduce dependency on manual calculations and external reports<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><strong>Solution<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We created three new rolling sales fields:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><strong>Rolling 24 Months<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This field displays the total invoiced sales generated during the last 24 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><strong>Rolling 36 Months<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This field displays the total invoiced sales generated during the last 36 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><strong>Rolling 60 Months<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This field displays the total invoiced sales generated during the last 60 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All three fields follow the same logic and behavior as the existing Rolling 12 Months field.
