Two small features answer that question: the <strong>Data sync message<\/strong>&nbsp;at the top of the screen and the <strong>Sync button<\/strong>&nbsp;on the right. Together they show you how fresh your data is and let you refresh it yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Data Sync Message<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the top of the Item History screen, in a highlighted banner, you\u2019ll see a message like this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Data sync until: 2026-07-31 18:29:51<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is the timestamp up to which the data on the screen is synchronized. Anything invoiced or changed after that moment may not appear yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Why it matters:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Trust your numbers.<\/strong>\u00a0Before you pull a quantity sold figure or confirm an invoice, check the timestamp so you know whether you\u2019re looking at current or slightly older data.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Explain gaps.<\/strong>\u00a0If a recent invoice is missing from the grid, the banner often tells you why: it was created after the last sync.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reconcile reports.<\/strong>\u00a0When you compare Item History against another report, a matching sync time avoids false discrepancies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The banner sits at the top of the page, so you see it before you start filtering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Sync Button<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the right, below <strong>Filter<\/strong>&nbsp;and <strong>Clear<\/strong>, is the <strong>Sync<\/strong>&nbsp;button. Clicking it refreshes the Item History data so the screen catches up with the latest records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>When to use it:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You expect new invoices that don\u2019t appear yet.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The \u201cData sync until\u201d time is older than you need.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You\u2019ve been told that source data was corrected or updated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How to use it:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check the <strong>Data sync until<\/strong>\u00a0timestamp.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Sync<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wait for the refresh to finish and confirm the banner shows a newer timestamp.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apply your filters (Company Code, Customer Number, Item Code, Invoice No, Salesperson, Invoice Date range, Product Family) and click <strong>Filter<\/strong>\u00a0to see the updated results.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Filtering changes what you see from the data you already have. Syncing changes how recent that data is.
