This is very similar to the UAC (User Access Control) that we currently find in the advanced OS wherein user needs to enter\/allow administrative permissions to the OS in order to perform certain task.<br \/>\nLet us take an example; Say user does not have administrator rights to change currency settings in the Sage CRM system.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/01.-Currency-Configuration.bmp\" target=\"_blank\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-3116\" title=\"Currency Configuration\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/01.-Currency-Configuration.bmp\" alt=\"\" width=\"653\" height=\"299\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In order to<strong> <\/strong>overcome this kind of administrator right issue<strong>,<\/strong> Administrator will have to assign System user with Administrative privileges in IIS as it runs as an independent entity in itself. Administrator has to follow below mentioned steps to provide rights:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>1.<\/strong>\u00a0Navigate to <strong>Start &gt;&gt; Control Panel &gt;&gt; Administrative Tools &gt;&gt; Internet Information Services\u00a0<\/strong>or type \u201cinetmgr\u201d in Run Command.\u00a0A window of Internet Information Services will appear.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/02.-Internet-Information-Services.bmp\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-3117\" title=\"Internet Information Services\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/02.-Internet-Information-Services.bmp\" alt=\"\" width=\"665\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>2.<\/strong>\u00a0Navigate to CRM directory and select Properties. Select Directory Security Tab and Click on Edit Button of the Anonymous access group.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/03.-CRM71-Properties.bmp\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-3118\" title=\"CRM71 Properties\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/03.-CRM71-Properties.bmp\" alt=\"\" width=\"340\" height=\"336\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>3.<\/strong>\u00a0Here System Administrator has to assign User (\u201cAdministrator\u201d in our case) the Administrative privileges to access system and set password as well.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/04.-Authentication-Methods.bmp\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter  wp-image-3119\" title=\"Authentication Methods\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/04.-Authentication-Methods.bmp\" alt=\"\" width=\"383\" height=\"344\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>4.<\/strong>\u00a0Save above settings and login to the CRM again with the same user id.
