One fine day we found an interesting post, regarding how to remove the Type<\/strong> field. Type field is present on the Address Panel against the company.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>
\nRemoving this field is very simple but little different. Regular approach for removing this fields will not work for Type field.<\/p>\n

Thus, Follow below steps to remove and see how it is different!<\/span>
\nSteps to Remove Type field are as follows;<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.<\/strong>\u00a0Log in to CRM as an Administrator.
\n2.<\/strong>\u00a0Turn ON the Inline customization; follow below steps to do the same.<\/p>\n

a.<\/strong>\u00a0Navigate to Administration >> Customization >> Translations.
\nb.<\/strong>\u00a0Check the Inline Translation Mode\u00a0check box\u00a0to turn it On.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

3.\u00a0<\/strong>Now navigate to Company| Address Panel. It will display the inline translation mode.
\n4.<\/strong>\u00a0Here, remove all the\u00a0check boxes\u00a0under the Type field (Business\\Billing\\Shipping). Follow the below steps to do the same.<\/p>\n

a.<\/strong>\u00a0Click on (-*)<\/strong> symbol of the field. The inline translation screen will get open.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

b.<\/strong>\u00a0Click on Delete Button and then on Confirm Delete Button.
\nc.<\/strong>\u00a0Close the page and repeat the above steps to remove all the fields under Type.
\nd.<\/strong>\u00a0Refresh the Company address screen. You will now be able to see that the\u00a0check box\u00a0fields (Business\\Billing\\Shipping) are all removed.<\/p>\n

5.<\/strong>\u00a0Then, remove the Type field Caption from the screen. To do so, follow below instructions;<\/p>\n

a.<\/strong>\u00a0Click on (-*<\/strong>) symbol of Type field caption. The inline translation screen will get open.
\nb.<\/strong>\u00a0Add the code <div> in the US Translation field and add code <\/div> in the UK Translation field.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

c.<\/strong>\u00a0Click on save. The Inline customization screen will get closed.
\nd.<\/strong>\u00a0Refresh the Address Screen. Type field will be removed.<\/p>\n

6.<\/strong>\u00a0Turn OFF the Inline customization. This can be done by un-checking the Inline translations from the screen Administration -> Customization -> Translations.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s it. Now log off from Sage CRM system and re-login back to check address panel. Type field would be hidden from the Address panel.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
