If you are a customer service agent you may be interested in the profile of Customer Company in order to get more clarity on the business involved as well as other relevant details. Calling will be faster and will surely save costs.<br \/>\nThe Facebook for Sage CRM component links Facebook profiles to your Persons and Facebook pages to your Companies. Once this is done, you will be able to get basic public information about a contact or a company, without having to leave SageCRM! The Facebook component is available for download at the Sage CRM Market Place.<br \/>\nTo install the component below instructions can be followed<br \/>\n1. Take CRM database backup<br \/>\n2. Login to CRM.<br \/>\n3. Go to <strong>Administration\u00a0<\/strong>|| <strong>Customization\u00a0<\/strong>|| <strong>Component Manager<\/strong>.<br \/>\n4. From the <strong>Add Component<\/strong> panel, browse the component ZIP file, and select <strong>Open<\/strong>.<br \/>\n5. Select the <strong>Upload New Component<\/strong> button. The Component is added to the Available Components list.<br \/>\n6. Once the Facebook component becomes part of your list of available components, you can just select it, and select <strong>Install<\/strong>.<br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Linking a Person to a Facebook Profile page in Sage CRM<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nIn the context of a Person in Sage CRM, you will see a new field \u201c<strong>Facebook Profile<\/strong>\u201d once the component has been installed. Select Change, and then click on the Facebook icon that appears to search for the Person\u2019s profile page.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/img1.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3875\" title=\"img1\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/img1.jpg\" width=\"895\" height=\"501\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nThe following pop-up window will appear:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/img22.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3887\" title=\"img2\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/img22.jpg\" width=\"781\" height=\"326\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nOnce you have saved your change as well as the person\u2019s record, you will be able to easily access the Facebook profile of the person by clicking on the Profile link in the <strong>Person Summary<\/strong> tab. This will open the profile page in a new window, but not in Sage CRM itself.<br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Linking a Company to a Facebook Page<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\nIn the context of a Company in CRM, you will see a new \u201c<strong>Facebook<\/strong>\u201d field once the component has been installed. Follow the same procedure as before to link the company to a Facebook page.<br \/>\nFor example, if you are looking for Sage CRM:<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/img3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3878\" title=\"img3\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/img3.jpg\" width=\"627\" height=\"212\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nOnce you have saved your change as well as the company\u2019s record, Sage CRM will try and retrieve the company\u2019s profile picture.
