One of our colleagues from implementation team was installing Sage CRM for a client demo.\u00a0 After installing CRM, he was unable to login and encountered some issue which we are going to discuss in this blog.
\nFollow is the list of common issues which he came across while login into Sage CRM with its cause and possible solution.<\/p>\n

Issue 1: \u00a0<\/strong>A number of Named Users need to be disabled to enable the system License. Please contact your System Administrator.
\n\"\"<\/a>Cause: \u00a0<\/strong>After investigating, we found that the user while installing Sage CRM had mistakenly checked the option to use demo data. The license which was used while installation was for 10 users, whereas the demo database attached to Sage CRM has 20 active users.
\nResolution:\u00a0 <\/strong>Our first place to search for anything on Sage CRM is the Community<\/a> and we found Jeff had already provided insights this one .. Resolution<\/a>
\nIssue 2: <\/strong>User is currently disabled or set as the resource.
\n\"\"<\/a>Cause: <\/strong>From the error message, there can be only 2 possibilities. Either user is disabled or it is set as resource.
\nResolution:<\/strong> Resource field at the user level is set as False due to which above issue occurs. To resolve this, execute below query.
\nUpdate Users Set user_resource =\u2019True\u2019 where user_logon= \u2018<user logon name>\u2019\u00a0<\/strong>
\nIssue 3: <\/strong>User is locked out.
\n\"\"<\/a>Cause: <\/strong>If user enters their password incorrectly three times (By default value), they are locked out of the system.
\nResolution: <\/strong>Users can be unlocked by Admin user. However, what if the Admin user is locked. In that case, you can do the same by executing the below query in SQL server management studio on Sage CRM database.
\nUpdate users set user_accountlockedout = null where user_logon =\u2019<<user logon name>>\u2019<\/strong>
\nThese are some issue which users come across while login into Sage CRM following the given steps it can be solved easily.
