Sage CRM is a license product and every license product has its expiry. However, if Sage CRM license key get expired, one can easily obtain new key from Sage Partners\/Resellers. Now, the next step is to activate the License keys for Sage CRM.
\nThere are 3 ways user can change the License keys of Sage CRM
\nLicenseKeyUpdate application:<\/b><\/p>\n

a.\u00a0<\/strong>This application exists at the installed location on Sage CRM server. Say if Sage CRM is installed in C drive, then it would get installed in C:\\Program Files\\Sage\\CRM\\<<CRM Instance>>\\License Update\\<\/em>
\nb.<\/strong>\u00a0Run\u00a0LicenseKeyUpdate.exe<\/strong> application.
\nc.<\/strong>\u00a0Select Sage CRM<\/strong> Install Name for which you need to update\u00a0the License Keys.
\nd.<\/strong>\u00a0Enter new license keys in provided block and Click on Next<\/strong> button to proceed further.
\ne.<\/strong>\u00a0Finish the installation.<\/p>\n

The New Stuff:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Login Error in Sage CRM<\/a><\/em>
\nRe-running installation (setup.exe) from the Sage CRM\u00a0DVD<\/b><\/p>\n

a.\u00a0<\/strong>Re-run the installation (setup.exe) from the Sage CRM DVD
\nb.<\/strong>\u00a0Select “Change existing install of CRM” <\/strong>option to start the process.
\nc.<\/strong>\u00a0Select the Sage CRM<\/strong> instance to be upgraded
\nd.<\/strong>\u00a0You will get a list of options\u00a0Select “License Key”<\/strong> checkbox
\ne.<\/strong>\u00a0Enter new license key in provided block and Click on Next button to proceed further.
\nf.<\/strong>\u00a0Finish the installation.<\/p>\n

Through Registry<\/b><\/p>\n

a.\u00a0<\/b>Execute\u00a0Run<\/strong>\u00a0command\u00a0and type RegEdit<\/strong>\u00a0to open Registry Editor.
\nb.\u00a0<\/b>Navigate to the below path.<\/p>\n

For 32-bit server:<\/strong> <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

In Registry Editor n<\/i>avigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE >> SOFTWARE>> eWare >>Config >>\/<<CRM Instance>>
\n<\/i><\/p>\n

For 64-bit server:<\/strong> <\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

In Registry Editor n<\/i>avigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE >> SOFTWARE >> Wow6432Node>> eWare >>Config >>\/<<CRM Instance>><\/p>\n

c.\u00a0<\/b>Here you can see the LicenseKey<\/strong> node. Right Click and select Modify<\/strong> data option.<\/p>\n

d.<\/b> Enter the correct CRM Keys into the Value data and click on OK button.
\ne.\u00a0<\/b>Run IISRESET<\/strong> command to update the license key.<\/p>\n
