Campaigns can be linked to the Communications by selecting the Show Campaigns button available on Communication screen.<br \/>\n<em><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong>The New Stuff:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/2013\/10\/07\/showing-images-in-sage-crm-reports\/\" target=\"_blank\">Showing images in Sage CRM Reports<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Campaign1.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4880\" alt=\"Campaign1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Campaign1.jpg\" width=\"629\" height=\"249\" \/><\/a><span style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6em;\">We came across a scenario where user needs to access the Campaign\/Wave Activity field without clicking on the Show Campaign button.<\/span><br \/>\nInitially we thought it might be a difficult task to show the Campaign\/Wave Activity by default on the screen. We checked the properties of a screen before and after clicking on the Show Campaigns button. Bingo, we found the one small difference in the URL. Here we observed that only the below parameter gets added to the new communication URL when user clicks on the Show Campaign button.<br \/>\n<b>Before clicking Show Campaign button:<\/b><br \/>\nhttp:\/\/&lt;&lt;server&gt;&gt;\/&lt;&lt;crm&gt;&gt;\/eware.dll\/Do?SID=91589056870175&#038;Act=361&#038;Mode=1&#038;CLk=T&#038;T=newactivity&#038;Key0=21<br \/>\n<b>After clicking Show Campaign button:<\/b><br \/>\nhttp:\/\/&lt;&lt;server&gt;&gt;\/&lt;&lt;crm&gt;&gt;\/eware.dll\/Do?SID=91589056870175&#038;Act=361&#038;Mode=1&#038;CLk=T&#038;Key0=21&#038;showcamp=y<br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.6em;\">Programmatically it can be achieved by following below 2 steps.<\/span><br \/>\n<b>Step 1:<\/b> Write a Create Script code to create entire URL (similar as above mentioned).<br \/>\n<b>Step 2:<\/b> Write a Client Side script to navigate the users to the screen which shows Campaign\/Wave Activity field by default on new communication screen.<br \/>\nOnce done, you will observe that, Campaign\/Wave Activity field will be visible on screen.
