What if you get to socialize to access more information about a person you will be meeting for an opportunity and that too right in CRM itself? Well yes! Being social is possible through Sage CRM.<br \/>\nPreviously Sage CRM allowed the integration of Facebook in CRM, now one more has been added in the family of Sage i.e. Twitter integration.The Twitter component for Sage CRM 7.2 is now available from the Marketplace.<br \/>\nAll you need to do is to install the Twitter component in CRM as described below:<br \/>\n1. Take CRM database backup<br \/>\n2. Login to <strong>CRM<\/strong>.<br \/>\n3. Go to <strong>Administration<\/strong> || <strong>Customization<\/strong> || <strong>Component<\/strong> <strong>Manager<\/strong>.<br \/>\n4. From the <strong>Add Component<\/strong> panel, browse the component ZIP file, and select Open.<br \/>\n5. Select the<strong> Upload New Component<\/strong> button. The Component is added to the Available Components list.<br \/>\n6. Once the Twitter component becomes part of your list of available components, you can just select it, and select Install.<br \/>\nTo configure your Twitter Account in Sage CRM\u00a0you have to login to your Twitter account first. Then\u00a0click on the &#8220;<strong>My Twitter<\/strong>&#8221; tab that&#8217;s in the &#8220;My CRM&#8221; section. You will be prompted to associate your CRM logon with your Twitter account.<br \/>\n\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/11.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4974\" alt=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/11.jpg\" width=\"743\" height=\"296\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nWhen you click the <strong>Continue<\/strong> button, a new window will open, which will ask if you want to authorize Sage CRM to use your Twitter account. Click the <strong>Authorize App<\/strong> button.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4975\" alt=\"2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/2.jpg\" width=\"743\" height=\"590\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nA Confirmation page is displayed in CRM, Click on <strong>Continue<\/strong> button.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/3.jpg\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/31.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4977\" alt=\"3\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/31.jpg\" width=\"743\" height=\"193\" \/><\/a><\/a><br \/>\nAs you can see below your Twitter account will now be associated with CRM account. On the left hand side of the screen you&#8217;ll see a textbox where you can compose a new tweet or newsfeed. On the right hand side is a search box where you can type a phrase to search for.
