{"id":5171,"date":"2013-10-29T10:27:57","date_gmt":"2013-10-29T10:27:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/?p=5171"},"modified":"2013-10-29T10:27:57","modified_gmt":"2013-10-29T10:27:57","slug":"source-view-dropdown-in-groups","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/2013\/10\/29\/source-view-dropdown-in-groups\/","title":{"rendered":"Source View Dropdown in Groups"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Groups can be created in Sage CRM using SQL views and selecting the same view in the Source View dropdown.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #993300;\"><b><i>The New Stuff:<\/i><\/b><\/span>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/2013\/10\/25\/retrieve-deleted-records-in-sage-crm\/\" target=\"_blank\">Retrieve deleted records in Sage CRM<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Img11.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5172\" alt=\"Img1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Img11.jpg\" width=\"625\" height=\"128\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nHence we had created a Group by checking Groups View checkbox in CRM.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Img21.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5173\" alt=\"Img2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Img21.jpg\" width=\"625\" height=\"172\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nNow when one creates a Group and keeping Groups View checkbox checked, then that particular view gets available in the Source View dropdown field.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Img3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5174\" alt=\"Img3\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/Img3.jpg\" width=\"626\" height=\"145\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nHowever in our case view was not visible in Source View Dropdown field. We checked in other Sage CRM and found that it was working fine. Hence we checked system parameters to look for the reasons of this behaviour and there is a difference in one of the System parameters.
