In terms of Self-services, Self-service site is designed to have Customer cases. Recently one of our customers came up with a requirement to allow Self-service user to view and download documents attached to him in Sage CRM.<br \/>\n<strong><i><span style=\"color: #993300;\">Related Post:<\/span>\u00a0<\/i><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/2013\/12\/07\/export-to-excel-and-export-to-pdf-functionality-on-sage-crm-self-service-lists\/\" target=\"_blank\">Export to Excel and Export to PDF functionality on Sage CRM Self Service lists<\/a><br \/>\nEarlier we have designed similar component that allows Self-service users to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/2010\/08\/30\/communication-attachments-in-self-service\/\" target=\"_blank\">view and download the documents against Communication<\/a> and Cases entity in Sage CRM Self-service site.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #993300;\"><i>Read our other Self-service offerings at the end of this post.<\/i><\/span><br \/>\nTo meet requirement, we have designed a similar Documents tab as that of Sage CRM which will list all documents that are available for that particular customer in Sage CRM.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/Documents11.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6318\" alt=\"Documents1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/Documents11.jpg\" width=\"625\" height=\"366\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nIf you have a close look you will understand that there is a hyperlink on the data which is in the File column.<br \/>\nClicking on hyperlink will open a dialog box to either Open\/Save file on the user\u2019s local machine.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/Documents2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6319\" alt=\"Documents2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/Documents2.jpg\" width=\"625\" height=\"370\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nAlso no need to mention that, this functionality is Cross browser compatible.<br \/>\nWe are sure you all will be pretty much excited to have the same feature available in your Sage CRM Self-service site.
