If you want to use MAPI configurations, you have to store all these details in configuration files which is not safe.<br \/>\nOther way is to query <b>Custom_SysParams<\/b> table to get SMTP details from the CRM database and pass those details to our email routine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Image-2.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6333\" alt=\"Image-2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/Image-2.jpg\" width=\"228\" height=\"44\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>You can see SMTP password in parameters table is in encoded format so we cannot pick it up directly. Well, there is a standard method to decode it when you are using COM API.
