\u00a0<\/span>If you want to access data from outside Sage 50 (US) Peachtree application, then you need to setup a \u201cPeachtree\u201d user under Crystal reports\\Data access<\/b> tab. This is the dedicated user by which any external application can access data from Sage 50. This functionality is available in Sage 50 from Sage 50 2012 version onwards.\u00a0 In our GUMU for Sage CRM \u2013 Sage 50 (US) integration, we are using this same user for accessing data from Sage 50.\u00a0<\/span>
\nFor configuring this \u201cPeachtree\u201d user please follow below instructions.<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. 1.<\/span>\u00a0 Login to Peachtree application.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. 2.<\/span>\u00a0 Open your Peachtree Company Data.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. 3.<\/span>\u00a0 Go to Maintain >> User >> Set up Security a \u201cUser Security\u201d option.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \nPlease select \u201cCrystal reports\/ Data Access\u201d and select the option \u201cwith the following login information\u201d.\u00a0 Click on \u201cChange\u201d\u00a0 button and set\u00a0the password using below window.<\/span>

    \n\u00a0<\/span>This will configure \u201cPeachtree\u201d user for accessing data for any external application. We can then create any DSN and can make use of this \u201cPeachtree\u201d user for accessing Sage 50 data externally.<\/span>
