In Sage CRM each user has to create his own dashboard; hence one user cannot see the dashboard data of other users. There are few users in Sage CRM who will be using Dashboard tab and some who will never use dashboards; hence it has been asked that if there is a trick to restrict the same user wise.<br \/>\nHere the steps with which Dashboard tab can be restricted for certain users.<br \/>\n<b>Step 1: Create a field in User entity<br \/>\n<\/b>1) Login into Sage CRM using Admin user.<br \/>\n2) Navigate to Administration | Customization.<br \/>\n3) Select <b>Users<\/b> entity from the Secondary entities dropdown and select <b>Fields<\/b> tab.<br \/>\n4) Create a new checkbox field say (user_ShowDashboard) using <b>New<\/b> button which is available under Fields tab.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Image11.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7237\" alt=\"Image1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Image11.jpg\" width=\"501\" height=\"262\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<b>Step 2: Add field in More User Details box<br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">1) Navigate to Administration | Customization | Users | User Admin Extra Box.<br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">2) Select <\/span><b style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Show Dashboard <\/b><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">field created in<\/span><b style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\"> <\/b><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Step 1 from<\/span><b style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\"> Field <\/b><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">dropdown and<\/span><b style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\"> <\/b><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Click on<\/span><b style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\"> Add <\/b><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">button<\/span><b style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">.<br \/>\n<\/b><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Image2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7238\" alt=\"Image2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Image2.jpg\" width=\"598\" height=\"165\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n3) Click on\u00a0<b>Save<\/b>\u00a0button to Save changes.<br \/>\n4) Once added it will be available in the User More Details block of User Details tab as shown below.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Image3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7239\" alt=\"Image3\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Image3.jpg\" width=\"393\" height=\"78\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nAdministrator user has to check the same for all users to whom he needs to keep the Dashboard tab access and keep unchecked for users who will not have Dashboard tab access.<br \/>\n5) In addition to this, you also need to change Log Me In To settings (As it takes user to Dashboard screen when set as Dashboard) under User Preferences if you do not want Dashboard tab to be visible for a user.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Image5.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7241\" alt=\"Image5\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/Image5.jpg\" width=\"577\" height=\"216\" \/><br \/>\n<\/a><b>Step 3: Add SQL condition to restrict tab access<br \/>\n<\/b>1) Navigate to Administration | Advanced Customization | System Menus.<br \/>\n2) Select User Tab Group Name.<br \/>\n3) Select the Dashboard tab option &amp;
