In our previous blog, we had discussed about How to migrate Company from ACT! to Sage CRM<\/a>.\u00a0Going further with our series on GUMU™ CRM Migration services, this blog shall discuss about how one can migrate contacts from ACT! to Sage CRM through GUMU™.
\nGUMU™ migrates \u2018Contact\u2019 records from ACT! as \u2018Person\u2019 in Sage CRM. \u2018Persons\u2019 migrated in Sage CRM are linked to the corresponding company and ACT! \u2018Contacts\u2019 which do not have any linked company in ACT! get migrated as standalone \u2018Persons\u2019.
\nGUMU™ also migrates Custom Fields from ACT! and maps the \u2018Contact\u2019 in ACT! to corresponding Custom Fields in Sage CRM. In migration, GUMU™ converts information related to Contact i.e. Address, Phone, Email etc. to Sage CRM Person\u2019s corresponding fields.
\nTo understand this in a better way, we shall refer the below screenshot. Let\u2019s take an example of George Bailey (a Contact in Act!) whose details have been migrated to Sage CRM as \u2018Person\u2019.

\nBelow is the field mapping of the Converted ACT! \u2018Contact\u2019 to Sage CRM \u2018Person\u2019.

\n\"04\"<\/a>Business address has been set as Primary address for the company.<\/span>
\nPhone:\u00a0<\/b>
\n\"05\"<\/a>Phone with business type has been set as Primary Phone for the Person.<\/span>

\nGUMU™ also migrates the Secondary Contact from ACT! to Sage CRM \u2018Person\u2019 with its related Company, Address, Email and Phone information mapped to the respective fields.
