Sage CRM provides feature for managing data access rights not only for normal users but also for power users like administrators at the time of user creation. In this post, we will see how levels of Administration can be defined and utilized using \u201c<b>Administration<\/b>\u201d and \u201c<b>Info Admin Rights<\/b>\u201d fields under user Preferences.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #993300;\"><em><strong>GUMU :\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/span><a title=\"GUMU Sage 100 - Sage CRM Integration\" href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/1e71gdO\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Restrict Sage CRM user access to your Sage 100 ERP data with GUMU Security Matrix<\/a><br \/>\nWhile creating a new user in CRM on step 1 screen, there is a field named <b>Administration<\/b> with four options.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/11.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-7687\" alt=\"1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/11-1024x175.jpg\" width=\"417\" height=\"71\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">\u00a0<\/span><b style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">1. No Admin Rights<\/b><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\"> \u2013 <\/span><i style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">\u2018<b>No Admin Rights<\/b>\u2019<\/i><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\"> can be assigned to a basic user who should not have any access to the <\/span><b style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\">Administration<\/b><span style=\"line-height: 1.6em;\"> button on the left panel of the screen. It can usually be assigned to sales executive user who mainly uses CRM to enter new data or update the existing one assigned to them related to sales.<\/span><br \/>\n<b>2. Info Manager<\/b> \u2013 <i>\u2018<b>Info Manager<\/b>\u2019<\/i> can be assigned to that user who should have limited access to the Administration area. These rights can be defined through the <b>Info Admin rights<\/b> field. It can mainly be assigned to users at Manager Level wherein they may also have other users reporting them and they need to define rights such as User or Escalation rights set for them.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/21.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-7690\" alt=\"2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/21-1024x321.jpg\" width=\"417\" height=\"130\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<b>3. System Admin<\/b> \u2013 <b>\u2018System Admin\u2019<\/b>\u00a0 can be assigned to that user who is whole and sole responsible for managing or say controlling the CRM with full access to Administration button.<br \/>\n<b>4.
