Being business software CRM handles very delicate data and we cannot afford anybody to just go and change anything. Hence the Tracking functionality has been provided by SageCRM out of the box.<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #993300;\"><em><strong>The New Stuff<\/strong><\/em><\/span>: <a title=\"Checklist for installing GUMU for Sage CRM \u2013 Sage 100\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/2014\/05\/31\/checklist-for-installing-gumu-for-sage-crm-sage-100-3\/\" target=\"_blank\">Checklist for installing GUMU for Sage CRM \u2013 Sage 100<\/a><br \/>\nNow the question is how easy or difficult or easy it is to track the custom fields that I create. Well, the answer is \u201cNot that difficult!\u201d Here is how!<br \/>\nI have created one custom field named as \u201c<b>Score<\/b>\u201d at opportunity level. This field calculates scores based on certain condition for that particular opportunity whenever it gets progressed.<br \/>\n1) I created same field with same name on \u201cOpportunityProgress\u201d entity. While creating the same, SageCRM will display warning message like \u201c<b>Column name already exist on another table<\/b>\u201d.\u00a0 This warning is nothing but the CRM is about to create Mirror Image of the same field on different table. So, ignore this and click on \u201c<b>Save<\/b>\u201d button. Refer below screenshot.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/Img1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-8037\" alt=\"Img1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/Img1-1024x174.jpg\" width=\"595\" height=\"101\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>2) New step is to add the same field on \u201c<b>OpportunityProgressList<\/b>\u201d in order to display on Opportunity Tracking Tab at an Opportunity level.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/Img2.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-8038\" alt=\"Img2\" src=\"https:\/\/www.greytrix.com\/blogs\/sagecrm\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/Img2-1024x466.jpg\" width=\"595\" height=\"270\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>3) Once you are done with the same, you can see this on Opportunity Tracking Tab under Tracking List.
